Google Apps in Education
Google is a powerful search engine and a tool that many of us use everyday. Come explore the incredible number of options Google provides educators as we look to implement Common Core Standards and integrate technology into learning opportunities for students. This series of Google classes will explore Google Apps for Education including Google Drive, Forms, Sites, in addition to some fascinating tools embedded within Google search. Learn to leverage these collaborative tools for student learning.
Session 1 - CLOSED
- Sept. 18 - Google Drive, Gmail/Google Calendar
- Oct. 16 - Forms, Google Tools
- Nov. 6 - Google Sites, Chrome Store, Web Tools
Time: 4:15p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Cost: $20 per session, attend all three for $50

Thinking about FLIPPING your classroom? Increase your effectiveness and maximize your instructional minutes by making YOUR content available to students online. CTAP 6 has recently installed a "Flipped Lab" complete with all of the hardware and software you will need to create, record, edit, and publish lessons just as they happen in your classroom to families outside of the campus. Options for assessing work outside of the class are available as well. Join us for this 90 minute class and see how you can Flip your teaching.

E-rate Training Opportunities
There will be two statewide trainings held at many county offices, including Stanislaus, regarding the latest updates to the E-rate program. In brief, these trainings will present both beginning and intermediate training opportunities on different days. The California E-rate Focus Group will present all sessions.
